What’s All This Fuss About Twitter!? Everybody and their grandfather has been jumping on the twitter bandwagon recently. Twitter is defiantly becoming the new power house, and Aquarius Storage has seen the benefits of using Twitter, so we will continue to do so. These benefits include:

If our main site goes down/out, we will be all over it. We will also post status updates to Twitter, as such, Aquarius Storage does not host Twitter, so if we do happen to go down (not very likely ), then we can keep in contact with customers via it.

Twitter opens a another lines of communication between us and our clients. Although we will not provide “support” via Twitter, and do not guarantee any response what so ever via Twitter, we are usually good at getting back to questions our customers or possible customers may have.

It’s “hip” and “cool”. It helps our customers realize that yes, there are real live human beings here at Aquarius Storage. Yes, most of us have our own myspaces, facebooks, or twitters. Most of us know how to network. We are human. Web hosting, thus far, has not been 100% automated, so you can rest assured that you will be speaking to a real live breathing support or sales representative and not some robot.

By using Twitter, it allows us to run specials and it can be used as like “free marketing”, which is obviously good for us as well .

Aquarius Storage will continue improving our communication with our clients, being with our Twitter found here (http://twitter.com/aquariusstorage), our weblog (you’re already here ), or our community forum which is in development as we speak. We look forward to hosting with you. If you have any questions, please email our sales department.

I wanted to take the time to thank John over at SwiftModders for a jaw dropping Blog / vBulletin integration into our web site. It honestly is beautiful how well he did. If you are in need of WHMCS Integration, Kayako Integration, vBulletin Skins/Integration, or any design works, he is defiantly the guy you want to go with. It was a great experience working with you John, good luck. We will be sure to use the beautiful forum and blog that you integrated so nicely for us a lot in the coming weeks as we begin to mark our presence in the web hosting industry. Back to work now.

We here at Aquarius Storage hope everyone had an outstanding Christmas and a safe and happy holiday season.

This Christmas, I happened to have been blessed with one of the best material items I’ve recieved from anyone in many years from my loving mother, an iMac . This thing has Brain, Beauty, and Brawn.

24-inch: 3.06GHz
3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB memory
500GB hard drive
8x double-layer SuperDrive
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS with 512MB memory

With this setup, I can finally actually see to further develop the Aquarius Storage web site. My past XP computer had a graphics card that was about to die, and the monitor didn’t register gray at all… lol.

More recently, we hope everyone was up late this past night to see the ball drop in time square in New York City. For lack of better words, it was an amazing sight to see. It really does give hope for a better year considering our current economic crunch. Aquarius Storage is now steadily seeing growth, and we look forward to to a great new year, 2009 here we come.

In loving memory, Joan Chaffin who passed suddenly December 11, 2008 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. You will be missed.
