Aquarius Storage now fully supports R1Soft on ALL of our shared web hosting plans.

What does this mean?

Aquarius Storage’s Affordable Web Hosting plans now provide an interface for the customer to login to their control panel, and view all of the restore points for their website.

We do daily backups of your data, (MySQL, Files, etc) and store them on off-site servers. In the case of hardware failure, or failure on your end to delete the correct file(s), we are able to do restores. You are also able to initiate your own restores from your cPanel by clicking on “R1Soft”

On average, there should be 5-7 restore points for you to choose from.

This is a great addition to the Aquarius Storage feature set, and hope that all customers will enjoy it.

As we said, this is included, FOR FREE, on all Affordable (shared) hosting plans here at Aquarius Storage.

This is a big step forward for Aquarius Storage’s reseller platform. WHMCS is widely viewed to be the best billing system all around for hosting providers, and we use it our self. It was kind of contradictory of our self to use one billing system however offer another one to our resellers.

Besides that, we’re still learning a lot about Virtuozzo, but our new platform is very stable, and a great improvement over our HyperVM platform and machines we had with Singlehop. Oh, did I mention we moved all VPS customers from Singlehop to SoftLayer which is located in Dallas Texas. And our VPS nodes now consist of Dual Quard core Intel 5540’s with 32GB of RAM and RAID 10? 1. If our main site goes down/out, we will be all over it. We will also post status updates to Twitter, as such, Aquarius Storage does not host Twitter, so if we do happen to go down (not very likely ), then we can keep in contact with customers via it.
2. Twitter opens a another lines of communication between us and our clients. Although we will not provide “support” via Twitter, and do not guarantee any response what so ever via Twitter, we are usually good at getting back to questions our customers or possible customers may have.
3. It’s “hip” and “cool”. It helps our customers realize that yes, there are real live human beings here at Aquarius Storage. Yes, most of us have our own myspaces, facebooks, or twitters. Most of us know how to network. We are human.
